It’s through this project that I was able (in addition to delve back into After Effects to refresh my motion design skills) to immerse myself in one of my other main aesthetic influences and visual vernacular, namely the bold, striking, expressive, dense and multilingual Japanese design.
All of this through three 100% Japanese concepts : bureikou, shibui and furusato.
